Answers to common questions about AliExpress promo codes, coupons and discounts.
Do international AliExpress promo codes work in Germany?
Yes, if the promotion allows them to be used on orders shipped to Germany. However, some AliExpress sales exclude the country from international offers and provide separate promo codes for German shoppers instead. It's therefore worth checking whether a code is valid for the German market before using it.
Why doesn't my AliExpress promo code work even though my order total in euros exceeds the minimum amount?
AliExpress checks the minimum purchase amount after other discounts have been applied, excluding shipping costs and certain fees. As a result, your overall order total may exceed the required threshold while the value of the items themselves remains too low. If the promo code's minimum spend is set in US dollars, exchange-rate differences may also affect whether your order qualifies.
Can AliExpress promo codes be used on Choice, SuperDeals and other discounted items?
Yes, but not always. Choice items may be eligible for additional discounts with promo codes, while SuperDeals and other special offers often come with restrictions. Eligibility depends on the terms of each promotion. If an item doesn't meet those requirements, AliExpress will reject the code. You can check whether the discount applies at checkout.
Why does AliExpress say a promo code has been used up even though it hasn't expired?
AliExpress limits how many times certain promo codes can be redeemed, so they may become unavailable before the promotion ends. These limits can be reached particularly quickly during major sales, when demand for discounts is high. AliExpress occasionally makes such codes available again, but this isn't guaranteed. You can try again later or use a different one.
Can I combine an AliExpress promo code with seller coupons, Coins and other discounts?
Yes, in many cases you can combine a promo code with a seller coupon, discounts using Coins and other promotional offers. However, you cannot apply two promo codes to the same order, and some offers have additional restrictions on combining discounts. Before paying, review your order total to make sure all eligible savings have been applied.
Why doesn't an AliExpress new-user promo code work even on my first order?
Placing your first order doesn't necessarily guarantee eligibility for a new-user discount. AliExpress may consider not only your account history but also payment details, phone numbers or devices linked to your account. If its system detects signs that a welcome offer has already been used, the code may be rejected. An already activated introductory offer could also prevent it from working. If you've never purchased from AliExpress before, contact customer support to clarify any restrictions on your account.
